Last Breath Starring Woody Harrelson Sets February 28, 2025 Theatrical Release Date

Focus Features will release the upcoming thriller from Longshot Films and Dark Castle Entertainment on February 28, 2025.

Starring Woody Harrelson, Simu Liu, and Finn Cole, Last Breath is based on a 2019 documentary of the same name.

Based on an inspiring true story, Last Breath follows a seasoned deep-sea diver as he battles the raging elements to rescue his crewmate trapped hundreds of feet below the ocean’s surface. This heart-pounding film is a story of teamwork and resilience that takes audiences on an electrifying race against time.

The film is directed by Alex Parkinson; written by Mitchell LaFortune, Parkinson, and David Brooks; and produced by David Brooks P.G.A., Paul Brooks P.G.A., Hal Sadoff, Norman Golightly, Jeremy Plager, Stewart le Maréchal, Al Morrow, and Anna Mohr-Pietsch.

Last Breath was developed by father and son, Paul and David Brooks, of Longshot Films and produced alongside Dark Castle Entertainment. Both companies co-financed the film.

The film is the latest project from frequent collaborators Paul Brooks and Focus Features, after previously working together on My Big Fat Greek Wedding 3 and Champions, which also starred Harrelson.

Universal Pictures International will distribute in select international territories. FilmNation Entertainment handled international sales on the rest of the world.
